I've created a small branch from KNZone's regular creations. This is where you can catch some news on the latest projects from members of our new team, the Independant Developers with Ideas for Earth.

Some info.

I'm still working on zC, but so far, I'm loving how it's working. Here are its features, currently:
  • Pixel-perfect collisions
  • Smooth Frames-per-second.
  • Action Recognition
  • Double-jumping
  • Acceleration and Deceleration.
  • Wall-Jumping
  • Edge-Grabbing
  • Moving Platforms
  • (Moving) Jump-Through Plats
These are the features that are currently in zC. Maybe some more things can quickly be added. Until then, this is how I will categorize updates:
  • Website - Anything to do with website.
  • Projects - Any upcoming games, comics, etc.
  • Journal - Anything not related to KNZone.
See you around. :)

(Just so you know, I'm using a new keyboard. So I might make spelling/programming errors from time to time. Later. :)

zC Breakthrough!
Comments Sites: None
Finally, after about a month of working out most of the kinks, zC has a solid platforming engine that can be used even now, however, I am working to work out some small kinks so that it can include other things such as moving platforms, wall jumping, tight spaces, and action recognition.

What Action Recognition is comes out sort of like this; the engine will be designed to automatically tweak itself based on what you are doing in the engine. Small and unnoticable changes will undergo while you change the way that you play, and it is unrecognizable because it the feature is designed to make simple things in platforming easier. The hard part is pretty much finished with the confusion over collision bugs (turns out that my coding was pretty ace save for a simple error over something simple like checking if the ground is under you. '''^^)

I promise to have a ton of stuff to come out of nowhere and "Captain Falcon the heck out of everything." Things will be much easier with the engine about finished. Good timing, too. Summer is almost here!

zC Progresses Some More
Comments Sites: None
zC has been making some great progress, recently. The first pillar of code has been coming along great, and I have jumped over some nice obstacles. I'm in the swing, now, so I hope things really clear up before the second part of it all. I can't wait for the whole thing to be completed. It's getting a bit of a late start, but I think I'm managing nicely.

Let the Boredom Begin?
Comments Sites: None
I have added a strange new section below my Portfolio in the Gallery page. It is called the Doodle section. I use a formulatic series of "notebook pages" to create doodles here because I have too little paper at school to waste. These are the completely strange and warped oddities that my brain develops out of sheer boredom. I don't really have plans for anything in the drawings, really. They're just... There...

Gallery Page Updated!

Well, I wanted to do three showcase sections, but this one was turning out to be detailed and ended up drawing quite a lot. I'm kinda lazy, recently, but the Gallery has been reupdated so that it is easier to see all of the art.
